6/26/2018 A Hole The Size of VictoryBoy next door
who came and went freely, I wrote this down so we can get healing. Now man and woman in mirrors we stand; face to face with the blood of the Lamb. It's on my face and in my eyes, running-through my veins, you can't deny this beauty you see the woman you feel; the step you take back because now I am real. The woman you feel the beauty you see when I'm with you I feel safety to be- more than enough, though I wasn't before; by the blood of the Lamb I was raised to my score. This virtue inside I can no longer hide. So you want to be near but hold me aside. In the mirror we stand with the blood of the Lamb; we see truth of ourselves in the heart of the man. This may cause your departing and though sorrow is starting the hole you'll leave behind is the size of victory. ©Holly Silva, 2018 |
